Alumni Rockers Return to Share Their Craft with Current Students
The jam band EGGY visited Amity High School on February 23, 2018 to discuss their music and their career path with current students. Over 100 Amity students in grades 9-12 heard the band play several of their original songs and talk about their personal journeys as musicians and songwriters. Three Amity High graduates play in EGGY – Jake Brownstein, (guitar/vocals), Michael Goodman, (bass/vocals), and Dani Battat (keyboards/vocals). Alex Bailey, (drums/vocals) hails from the Chicago area and is currently a student at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
EGGY’s visit to Amity was made possible by a grant from the Jamie A. Hulley Arts Foundation
