The health, safety, and well-being of students and staff has always been a priority for the Amity Regional School District. We are committed to providing students with a welcoming and safe learning environment – but also one that maximizes in-person school attendance to develop students both academically and socially. The Amity Regional School District will continue to employ known mitigation strategies to lower the spread of COVID-19 We will also continue to work with our partners at Quinnipiack Valley Health District (QVHD) and Orange Health Department (OHD) to make local-based decisions on safe school operations.
Respiratory Disease Prevention Strategies Fall 2022 - Guidelines from the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) to assist in local decision-making, in the context of local conditions, to balance respiratory disease prevention measures with maximizing in-person participation opportunities for children.
CDC COVID-19 Community Level -Guidelines from the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) reference the CDC COVID-19 Community Levels. You can search for Connecticut and New Haven County to find the level for our Amity community.
DPH and CSDE Operational Strategies Fall 2022 - This initiative is designed to get Connecticut’s back to school, to keep them there in-person as much as possible throughout the year, and to keep them healthy and learning all year long.
