Amity Athletics Booster Club
Mission Statement
The Amity Athletics Booster Club is committed to supporting and promoting athletics as well as encouraging the development of the athletes of Amity Region District 5. We believe academics and athletics go hand in hand toward the success of our children. The Booster Club is dedicated to the continued support of ALL our student athletes, coaching staff, trainers and Athletic Department. We take pride in ALL our athletes and their accomplishments.
Through membership and fundraising, the Booster Club contributes toward the purchase of items that fall outside the realm of the athletic budget. Please take a minute to review our past contributions to the athletic department tab.
Additional yearly contributions:
- 4- $500 scholarships awarded to graduating Seniors every year
- Every Division, League and State Championship banner earned by Amity teams hanging in the main gym
- Championship t-shirts for EVERY member of each of those teams through 2013. Currently will fund t-shirts for those families who maintain a Booster Club membership (due to a dip in membership and fundraising)
- Sponsor the annual Block “A” awards dinner-Individual meal provided to each award recipient (50 + athletes each year)
- Produce a sports yearbook that is distributed to all Booster Club members
- For 25 + years subsidized the partial cost of a Varsity Jacket for all athletes earning Varsity status. Discontinued due to increased costs and minimal student interest.
Click here to purchase a "Brick" : The Amity Athletics Booster Club is selling “Bricks” that link current students and families to Amity’s Future. Hundreds of alumni, friends, and family members are currently represented on “The Wall” located in the High School Cafeteria. The cost of a brick is $25.00. This also provides a great idea for a “Graduation Gift” for our current Senior Class.
