The Amity Regional School District updated Academic Calendar for 2017-2018 can be downloaded here. The last day of school is now June 13, 2018.
The Amity High School Student Government is continuously trying to make sure the the voices of the students are heard within our body. Please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns or questions about our government.
If you are a club at Amity High School and would like to request funding for your club, please complete the formal request down below
*Please remember that requests do take time to process and must be approved to be placed on the agenda by the advisor of the Student Government and/or the Executive Board. The club president will be notified if the request will be placed on the agenda.

Principal Committee Chairperson
The Principal Committee works directly with the principal and the administration to improve the school. Please contact our chairperson if you have any issues you would like to have brought up during a meeting. This position was created in September 2007 by action of the Student Government.

The Chartwells Committee works to improve school lunches and school lunch prices. The committee also works to compromise between the student’s interest and the company’s interest. Please contact this person if you would like to comment on any lunch issues or raise any concerns relating to school lunches. This position was created in 2011 by action of the Student Government.

The Representative to the Advanced Placement Committee is responsible for attending AP committee meetings and expressing the views of the AP students whenever it is needed. The representative is required to be in at least 2 AP classes each year. Please contact this person if you have any concerns that you would like to have brought up during meetings or if you would like to comment on current issues before the AP committee.This position was created in January 2012 by Executive Order.
The Student Representative to the Amity BOE serves as the voice of the student body. This person is responsible for updating the board on school activities as well as introducing policies that have strong student support. The Representative to the Amity Board of Education is also Chairman of the Student Government Board of Education Advisory Committee. Please contact this person if you would like to discuss a policy change, issues that you would like to see be dealt with, or if you would like to comment on an existing policy. This position was created in September 2007 by Executive Order.

This member is responsible for updating the Amity High School Student Government Website as well as posting minutes and agendas to make sure the public is well informed on any student government activity.
