On June 8, the Amity Regional Board of Education recognized the students of Amity Creative Theater for their outstanding accomplishments during the 2025–2026 school year. In addition, the Towns of Bethany, Orange, and Woodbridge issued a joint proclamation officially designating June 8, 2026, as Amity Creative Theater Day throughout the Amity Region.
This recognition celebrates an extraordinary year for the program, including earning the prestigious Best Musical Award at the 2026 Stephen Sondheim Awards, along with individual honors for Best Director and Best Supporting Actress.
We are grateful to the Amity Regional Board of Education and the leaders of the Bethany, Orange, and Woodbridge communities for recognizing the hard work, talent, and dedication of our students and staff. We also extend our sincere thanks to the Amity community, whose continued support of our performing arts programs makes achievements like these possible.
