Social Studies & History

Amity’s Social Studies Program (Grades 9-12) is designed to provide students with a well-rounded study of the significant developments in history and the social sciences.

Courses draw their content from a wide variety of social science disciplines. Emphasis is placed on the study of key concepts and the development of important skills necessary to become lifelong learners. These skills include reading comprehension, writing, research, oral communication, critical thinking and technology.
