Library Art Award Winner

On December 14th from 5-7 PM, the Jamie Hulley Arts Foundation in conjunction with the National Art Honor Society and the Culinary Department are hosting our annual Empty Bowls event. For a minimum donation of $10 patrons can receive a handcrafted bowl and a soup dinner.  All proceeds will benefit the downtown evening soup kitchen in New Haven.  Immediately following dinner is the annual winter concert in the Brady Center.  

We appreciate your support.  

AMS Participates in the Hour of Code

Students from both Amity Middle School Bethany and Orange participated in the Hour of Code.  Students were encouraged to go to the media center and learn more about computer coding through online, interactive tutorials.  Students wrote their own code using various programming languages (Scratch, Python, Java) to create games, illustrations, and more. 

VISITORS FROM CHINA AT AMITY REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Educators from the Guangdong Province of China visited Amity Regional High School on Monday, December 4, 2017 and spent 3 hours shadowing students and talking with administrators.

AMITY SCHOOLS JOIN CONNECTICUT GREEN LEAF SCHOOLS PROGRAM

Amity Regional School District No. 5 has joined the Connecticut Green LEAF Schools program.
Connecticut Green LEAF Schools is a program of Connecticut Departments of Education, Energy and Environmental Protection, Administrative Services, and Public Health, in collaboration with more than thirty-five environmental and educational partners.
