The Syllabus for this course consists of the classroom assignments, goals and objectives for what will be covered, homework and behavioral expectations. Contracts for working with school equipment and borrowing school cameras is included in this section.

The beginning of this course consists of 8 instructionsl series including:

1. Learning how to use an enlarger & make a proof sheet

2. Learning how to crop : Make 2 images from the same negative

3. Learn how to use Filters and see how they affect the way the paper receives the light information in relationship to contrast

4. Learn how to Burn & Dodge: Correct a light or dark area within a print, turn in before & after

5. Learn how to use special affects to make an inverted version of your print, turn in before & after

6. Learn how to solarize using the Sabattier Affect

7. Learn how to make a photogram without using a negative or in conjunction with a negative

8. Learn how to hand color a black & white image
