There are a variety of ways to
manipulate your black and white print.
Toning: Includes bleaching your print then soaking the stripped
print in a sepia dye colorant
Photograms: Doesn't use a negative rather it is making a shadow
affect from a 3-D element
Solorization/Sabattier Affect: Involves removal of an exposed print
from the developer, wet, and re-exposing the print to white light. Immediately
following additional exposure, print is put into Stop bath, then fixer.
Hand Colorants: Includes the use of watercolor paints, markers,
Marshall oil pastels, etc... onto a black and white print
Double Exposure: Using Multiple Negatives and printing on onto piece
of paper
