Fast Shutter Speed vs. Slow Shutter Speed Poster

You will search periodicals to locate 3 pictures that demonstrate the concept of capturing and defining motion

Locate a picture that uses a fast shutter speed, stopping motion as it occurs

Locate a picture that allows the motion to move accross the page while it's surrounding environment is static/still

Locate a picture where the photographer has panned the subject that was moving. You'll recognize this one by the clear yet moving subject and the buildings and trees surrounding the movement are streaked in a blurr. Some examples are racing cars flying past the photographer, a bicyclist etc...

Poster Specifications:

  1. The poster may not be larger than 12 x 18, it may be done in Microsoft WORD
  2. Each image must be identified with characteristics that are in a creative "Typed Font" and glued in place
  3. Each image must have the probable shutter speed and aperture settings
  4. A one page document must accompany your poster with visual observations of what you see in each of the images and an explanation why you selected the specific camera controls you chose
