Final Exam Rubric

Students are assigned an artist to research Students are to produce a power point presentation sharing their research with the class on exam day

Each PPT presentation is to include the following information:

1. Is Artist's/Photographer's name on first page?
2. Does your music begin on first page and run throughout
3. Does your 2nd page contain a moveable collage of all interior images
4. Does EVERY interior page contain 1 Image (NOT BLURRY) that is outlined?
5. Are all interior images HYPERLINKED to their source?
6. Does your presentation contain HISTORICAL AND BIOGRAPHICAL
7. Does your presentation include Observational notes identified (ie Compositional Element, Principals and Elements of Design)
8. Does each slide contain Animation? Bulleted Text?
9. Are each of the images credited with the Artist's name (small) (Photo II/III only)
10. Are your 10/20 images clear or blurry? (20 for Advanced)
11. Are all your sources noted in order in your clearly labeled Bibliography?
12. During your Oral Presentation do you adlib and embellish your information?
13. Did you speak slowly and clearly or did you rush through quickly?
14. Does your presentation include commentary?
15. Is the File saved as StudentFirstNameLastInitial_ArtistName_Final?
16. Do you have 10-12 slides?
17. Did you print and turn in your 1 page summary that was produced in MS Publisher?
18. Did you show up on time for the exam oral presentation scheduled time period?
19. For Advanced Students Only: Do you have comparisons on each page? (Similarities & Differences identified)
20. Did you print off your Powerpoint in Handout format with 9 slides per page?

Students will orally present Power Point to class on Exam day

1. Students will produce in Microsoft PUBLISHER ( columned newsletter format) on their artist
1. Publisher document may be 1 page only (delete pages 2-4)
2. Publisher document must have a summary of Historical and Biographical information in complete sentences
3. Document must have a thumbnail of your favorite image the artist produced along with an explanation why you believe this images best
4. Document must have summary of observational notes in complete sentences
5. Document must have summary of your commentary
