Enlargers in the Darkroom 
Students will learn how to use an enlarger
Students will learn how to load their negatives into the negative carrier
Students will learn how to raise and lower the enlarger head to crop and zoom in on their image
Students will learn how to focus their enlarger using the focusing knob as well as the grain magnifier
Students will learn how to put paper into the easel beneath their enlarger light source
Students will learn how to adjust their light source for correct exposure
You will learn how to select the appropriate equipment for your task. There are many cameras to choose from as well as Enlargers for printing. We use Patterson Developing Tanks which are perfect for the beginner. An assortment of cameras including Cannon, Minolta, Nikon, Pentax and many others are available for you to borrow. We use a variety of films as well so you can experiment including Kodak, Agfa, Ilford and many others. We use mainly 400 ISO and 200 ISO Film type.
