Student Requirements

A student must earn a minimum of 100 credits in grades nine through twelve in order to receive a diploma from Amity Regional Senior High School. This may
be modified if block scheduling is implemented. The following course requirements must be completed:

Earn 20 credits in English. Each student must enroll in and complete an English class each semester. (Exception: See Early Graduation Requirements.)

Earn l5 credits in mathematics.

Earn l0 credits in science.

Earn 5 credits in social studies and l0 credits in U.S. History I and II.

Earn 5 credits in Art, Business, Family Studies, Music, or Technology Education.

Earn 4 credits in Physical Education/Health.

Enroll in and complete at least five (5) full credit courses each semester in addition to physical education/health. This requirement may be
modified for seniors with prior approval of the principal or his/her designee.
