To be nominated to the Hall of Honor, a candidate must have consistently demonstrated the highest standards of excellence and honor in his or her chosen vocation, including leadership, innovation in his or her field, excellence in his or her vocation or avocation, integrity, dedication, and an obvious exemplifying of the Amity District Mission Statement, being “a lifelong learner and a literate, caring, creative, and effective world citizen.”
